BELOW IS A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO A SERIES OFfERING FRiEDRICH NIETZSCHE QUOTES WITH COMMENTS DIRECTED SPECIFICALLY TO OZARK MEN.  IF YOU CAN’T BRING THE FOCUS TO READ THIS FIRST, THEN JUST CLICK OUT AND BREATHE DEEP 

 “European Immigrants” first wandered into the Ozark Mountains around 300 years ago.  For the first 200 years their lives were pretty much defined by species survival instincts tempered by fundamentalist Christian Culturing carried from their European origins.  Only small bits of the modernization then transforming coastal urban cities penetrated their sanctuary homeland.  This was both a good thing and a bad thing.  They commonly knew more of fear and less of anxiety., and learned to keep their heads down,  their emotions in check, and their attention on the immediate.  With little personal time for imagination and inquire, enlightenment came slowly, resulting in family and community life retaining rigid hierarchical structures.  

     But then, shit happened!  Cars, and telephones, and radios, and televisions, and cell phones, and computers, and AI, all drifted South and then “Shazam”, the Ozarks’ experienced  “cerebral overload”, giving way to a regional “psychotic break” that has now morphed into a living and breathing “sitcom”, wherein millions of totally confused souls are  mass hallucinating that “by miracle” next  year will be the year of our lord…. 1925 AD

     Clearly, along with Tehran, Mogadishu, and Caracas, the Ozarks desperately need a new “operating system”. Next year is not gong to be 1925 in the Ozarks and the Jacobs and Seths are not going to be out plowing the fields and the Saras and Rebeccas are not going to be at home frying chicken for the Church Pot-Luck Supper.  They are all going to be scanning their FS Cards at Walmart  on their way to whichever Dispensary has the best review on TikTok.  Need for change would seem to be existential, but from where?  Surly not from  NYT, Fox, Facebook or ABC, they’re just selling Insurance and cosmetics, and not from Public Schools, who are but strange attractors for smartphones.  So from where? 

      Perhaps an “all sectors/all persons AI monitored “micro-surveillance net” with robust government inforced negative incentives or……..UBI/Soma for the three low quadrants and MasterClass/Power for skimmed elites.  Either path, it’s gonna be a harsh adapt for the “what the hell is happening” Ozark Dudes who have become increasingly out-of-touch for a 100 years.  Time will tell, but for certain,,,,,,,

     They are gonna need more than a six-pack and a few “carpenter/fisherman parables” to make it intact.  Hopefully there will be help along the way but, for starters I offer up some “Nietzsche Quotes” to help clear bad memes from atrophied  brains.
