Some "Rich Dude" stole my "Paxlovid"

     Omicron is climbing the Covid Charts at lightning speed and the vaccines and monoclonal antibodies are not holding their own.  Only somewhat surprising, concurrently Pfizer has offered up a pill advertised to be a, well....life saver.  Paxlovid may be the "end all" or just what comes next, but, near term Paxlovid's defining characteristic is going to be it's scarcity.

      It is reported that there are only 65,000 doses available and with 1000+ dying daily, there is going to be an allocation problem.  Pending Pfizer ramp-up, several months away, the dilemma will likely be solved the American/Capitalist way, i.e. 64,500 to "the privileged" so they won't have to miss a committee meeting, a concert, or a family vacation, while the nominal remaining are allocated to "woke media" as production support supplies to embellish their fiction about how well the less privileged are being cared for.
