It isn't, I suspect, that Liberals in the West are crying "foul" because in Europe and the US, they got Politically Hammered by Cambridge Analytica, et.al. via Facebook. After all, it was just one election cycle. It is not as though the "psychops" ground crew who carry the load for Mercer, Bannon, Farage, et.al. are, to the man, a bunch of white nationalists from Alabama. To the contrary, they are mostly apolitical milennials just trying to make a buck. AggragateIQ is not the only "nerd gang" smart enough to identify, source, and manipulate enough individual voters to "get their boy elected". The problem for Liberals, is that all this "military grade cyber manipulating crap" only has limited potency. Sadly this "Manchurian Candidate Voter Management Scheme" plays out almost exclusively in the Right Wing Precincts around the world where "gettin likes" is "the force". Speaking of...."likes"..... how many 30 something MBA's with weighty mortgages and ICloud accounts see Facebook Feed as their North Star?
The Liberals simply need to find a way to "dumb down" their base so political competition is played on a level field. Indeed many Liberal platform priorities suggest that they are proceeding. It certainly is Liberals best hope, because, for certain, they are not going to enlighten the Right Wing Consciousness. Once Cyber-Psychops "ingested the game and built the algorithm"...well it's kinda like Deep Blue vs. Kasparov...you just know whose gonna win!
